Long press off button on Remote. It will then show option to reboot it.
Remove power from Dock and then reconnect power to reboot it

True, the software is un-evolved, but they s/have put detailed documentation on how to connect and configure the remote. I would have written up documentation for minimal charge ;-)!

As others have said, entering the IP address of the remote directly seems to work.

The hard part (at least for me) was figuring out the IP address, since in the ā€œaboutā€ screen the ā€œWi-Fiā€ address looks like a MAC address…

To add my own (agonising) experience of intermittent connectivity to the configurator…

Static IP, that fixed it.

Unifi Dream Machine Pro
Unifi 48-port switch
Various Unifi APs
Multiple VLANs

Could see the remote connected to WiFI in Unifi network app but without IP or VLAN listed.

This worked for me! Whoo-who!

I also experience similar issues (already in static ip).
What worked for me is to completely shutdown (not reboot) the remote and turn it back on. I suspect the wifi driver to hang after a given time.
The good news is that this does not occur often (weeks)
