There is a iPhone App, WHOOHOO, thought I'd advertise this :-)

Hello UC Community,

In my search under the motto, lazyness is hapyness, I was looking for a way not to have to take the physical remote with me, for the simplest tasks, like music volume up & down when I’m out and about around home.

Loo and Behold, there is an app for that! U Remote Control on the Appstore. I don’t see any thread in this community, and thought, maybe it’s a good idea to give it some visibility.

Thank you to the developer, Damien Bain-Thouverez!

Cheers,

Zee.

Discord is the best place for informations around the Unfolded Circle remotes.

Noice! Thanks for sharing.

I had installed this app before getting my remotes and only now registered my remotes as your comment reminded me I had the app.

The app is very useful.

Love the app. I just got my remote and after finally getting everything setup, I’m facing the same issue as everyone else, which is terrible battery life. That’s another topic. The app is extremely useful for putting the remote in the dock to charge while I’m still actively using it for activities, but still having full remote functionality via the app. From what I see, all the functionality I could think of is built into this app, including live activities and hardware control for volume, etc. Truly great job on the part of the developer. I’d love to see someone do a visual polish on it, but again, the functionality is all there…it could just be a bit nicer to look at

There’s also an android one (for those of us i-unbelievers  ): Uc-remote Android App

Wie heißt die App für IOS?

Danke

Sir, i understand and acknowlege English is not your language, however - could you please write in English in a public forum which domminent users are writing in English. There is a dedciated German language sub thread, randonly dropping responses in different language make it hard. Please either write in English or write in the dedicated thread. Danke  ( i am not a moderator, or work for UC so you can completely ignore me, but i am trying to be helpful and finding you write a lot in German in English threads make it hard to be helpful).

Sorry 😏

I'll try to use the translator as often as possible.
