Remote 3 charging issues

Yes, I am having the same issues even after upgrading the dock to 0.7.0. What power adapter/source are you using? I am using a 5v 3a USB-C adapter, that has a built in cord. Ie. I am not using the USB C cord that came with the remote. It really shouldn’t be this difficult to charge a device via USB C.

Not sure what the problem was but used the remote all day yesterday and today with no issues. I unplugged the charging dock and plugged back in. Did the same with the Non Charging dock it’s connected to for IR commands. Charging and discharging seem back to normal (for now). A while ago, I switched to using the charging brick that came with my MacBook Pro and the supplied UC braided cable.

Glad you’re sorted! I am all good now as well using the adapter from a Mac Book Pro and the USB cable that came with the remote. Ive managed to charge to 100% for the first time in 2 weeks!

Sadly (at least for me), my Dock 3 charging issues are NOT resolved. I am on FW 0.8.0, powering via POE only, and roughly every week, the Dock’s LED states, “not charging” and displays a low voltage message, and sure enough my Remote 3 does not charge. I am using a Netgear switch with plenty of juice. None of my other POE devices have this issue.

Getting increasingly frustrated with this Remote. Don’t have time for such foundational issues.

You could have 100A juice the dock says Voltage. I use a Ugreen 15W power supply.

Mine has been pretty solid as of late. Some of my issue was certain integrations that were disconnecting and reconnecting constantly causing the remote to not be able to charge quicker than the battery was being drained.

Once that was sorted, it’s been charging to full overnight without issue.
