If the integration fails after 1st setup you must reinstall it at least with firmware <2.8.2.
How far did you get during setup? Did it find your TV or did you enter IP? If you came beyond this point you must see the TV picture and you must confirm TWICE that control is allowed.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled each time. I typed in the ip address.
Remote firmware version is now 2.8.2 (just updated)
And I tried again without reloading. (LZG TV was powered off)

Check the integration readme if you enabled all needed settings on the TV. Your TV also needs to be on to complete the setup. Otherwise please post the logs on Discord in the matching community-projects thread for the LG integration.
All options on the TV are set.
Sorry I donât know where to find the LG integration community-projects thread. I have been all over the net the last few weeks trying to get the U3 to work.
Please provide details about how to post the logs. No one has responded to let me know.
As an aside, the remote does communicate with the Denon AVR

Download logs: Settings/Development/logs and choose the LG integration from the dropdown.

Sort of weird that the Sofabatons work fine without enabling âLG Connect Appsâ on the LG OLED. Would be nice if the integration could be modified to work the same as the Sofabaton
Use Bluetooth as Sofabaton. It was written several times that Sofabaton uses either Bluetooth or IR.

And I tried using IR with the Unfolded. It never worked
