LG WebOS Integration - How?

I am on 26.2 but it should not make a difference.

Have you used finder to look at your downloads folder?

uc-intg-lgtv-v1.11.0-aarch64-20251126_103512.tar.gz is what I get

yes I go into Finder and it has lost the .gz. When I rename it the Web configurator accepts it but then I get the error message “invalid archive, missing data” etc. I have just received my remote today and I am used to the Logitech but I thought I would give this a try but I have spent the whole afternoon trying to get this done. So feeling a little bit of buyers remorse as have not really achieved anything. Thanks for your time.

I received mine a week ago. Have spent many hours trying to get anything to work (LG OLED. Apple 4k TV, Denon AVR).

Try running the terminal app. cd to the downloads folder. See if the issue is with finder

This is what is downloaded “uc-intg-lgtv-v1.11.0-aarch64-20251126_103512.tar” every time I try to download it

Notice my file name ends in .gz

Are you using Safari to download?

Yes I am using Safari. How do I use the terminal app. I have launched it and typed in cd downloads, but how do I see the contents of the download folder?

ls -al is the command

yikes there is a lot of entries here. Can’t make head or tails of it

Do you think updating the OS might help?

https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-list-files-in-linux-using-the-ls-command/

use ls -alt
Sorts by time

And the OS

try ls -alt uc*

It’s amazing you have the same system as me. I have used the integrations that unfolded created and they worked like a dream. Found my marantz processor and my AppleTV but am now stuck on the LG OLED.

Using the last command you have given me it displays exactly what Finder has. No .gz

Make sure you have finder showing extensions.. Show all filename extensions

Show all file extensions, even for files that have “Hide extension” selected

Let me check some more. Looks like you have the system set to unpack files

To stop Safari on macOS from automatically unpacking downloaded zip files, go to Safari Preferences, click on the General tab, and uncheck the option “Open ‘safe’ files after downloading.” This will allow zip files to download without being automatically unzipped

Do you have any other browsers installed?

Instead of left click on link the right click with choosing download from menu might also work.

I think I need to start from scratch. Error on remote: Connection to dock not established for one of my activities.

And I still do not know how to upload my logs

I tried again. Used uc-intg-lgtv-v1.13.2-aarch64-20260114_115521.tar.gz

Getting Driver not connected. Failed to connect to host: Connection refused (os error 111)

And I still do not know how to upload the integration logs.

CONNECTION_REFUSED

This is for the LG OLED55E6P

And FYI I had no issues configuring my SofaBaton U2 for the LG
