Integration ideas?

Not everyone uses HA but I suspect a lot of folks who bought the R3 do. No issue with controlling the AC through the remote (via HA) but I meant I wasn’t sure why you’d want to control things like your dishwasher through the remote.

In this instance, I hadn’t thought about it this way. I’m sure you are right on this. I moved from Homeseer to Home Assistant for the sole reason of HA’s support for the remote 3.

I’m also a Home Connect user. But what function would be useful to use with the remote control? A notification when the washing machine is finished? Or controlling the stove with the remote?

Notifications and controlling like we do we the Home Connect app but it was just an extra if it was an easy task. Not that important.

# Controlling via websocket

If the websocket server is enabled with the `-p` option, CamillaDSP will listen to incoming websocket connections on the specified port.

If additionally the "wait" flag is given, it will wait for a config to be uploaded via the websocket server before starting the processing.

By default the websocket server binds to the address 127.0.0.1, which means it's only accessible locally (on the same machine). If it should be also available to remote machines, give the IP address of the interface where it should be available with the `-a` option. Giving 0.0.0.0 will bind to all interfaces.


## Command syntax
For commands without arguments, this is just a string *with the command name within quotes*:

"GetVersion"
```
For commands that take an argument, they are instead given as a key and a value:
```json
{"SetUpdateInterval": 500}
```

The return values are also JSON (in string format). The commands that don't return a value return a structure containing the command name and the result, which is either Ok or Error:

Those STB’s can be controlled by their own App “TechniSat Connect”.

Just one more question:

Does anyone here has more than one AndroidTV box and is able to use the Android TV integration with all of them?

And do you use On and Off, or Toggle On/Off?
