any plans adding direct support for CDSP?
Would of course help testing but setup is really easy with these scripts provided by Henrik.
(My whole home cinema runs with it with almost 20 output channels (xovers) with linear phase (FIR) filtering.)
Volume control makes most sense at the outputs from CDSP and not at the AVR (at the input to CDSP) and here UC remote comes into play.
I’m working right now on fire tv integration by direct ip (no adb or Bluetooth). Can look into all the other suggestions. But usually I pick those that at least 3 people want, if there is a documented api and someone who can dedicate themselves for testing. It’s very VERY hard to develop for devices I don’t have, since I can’t test it or debug. I’ll finish the fire tv and pick something new (barring some free time since I still have a mortgage to pay lol)
Any EMOTIVA users for a potential integration who are willing to test ? ( i do not own an EMOTIVA device).. if so, please DM Me or find me on discord please.
Samsung Soundbar: if it works with smartthings you can test my smartthings integration
Emby - i created an integration for Emby already. Check my github.
LMAO on the dishwasher.
I usually take on projects that are interesting, there is an API for it and that more then 1 person have the device, otherwise - spending hours/days for a single person (especially when i cant test) is not helpful for the community.
To answer your question:
For the Unfolded Circle, there is an “Activities” and “Devices” sections which match 100% to the same (they even called the same), you need to build your own activities and if you want to see also all “devices”, create a main page called “Devices” and add all the entities you want there. to mimic the same.
Didn’t saw the integration for Emby; just Jellyfin. (only saw here).
There is one i forgot but don’t know if it’s possbile: Stremio (i have The Android TV version and the Tyzen version)
As for the Siemens appliances, yeah, i’ve gone too far on my excitement
Np. Check my github there’s about 30 integrations I’ve done, you might find them useful. If more folks say they have the devices you have i might take that on. This is done based on availability and how many people want. It’s not my job, just trying to help folks out. So if more people will ask, maybe that’s a cool project can take on
For your consideration @M.a.S.e I would love to see Lyngdorf processors supported. I believe I am the 3rd or 4th with a request. It’s also highly likely that this integration would also support the higher tier Macintosh processors as well as they use the Lyngdorf system under the hood. Interestingly Lyngdorf is out of Denmark also and have a very strong following in Europe so I would imagine there are others that use both products. In fact the remote actually looks like it was designed by Lyngdorf. Lastly, I would be more that happy to work with you as much as you need for any testing, resources etc.
There is a library available and a Home Assistant Integration. To be honest, the HA integration works very well. For discreet codes I use HA Node-Red and this works very well also. What I am really missing is the display of .5 db volume increments. I know UC doesn’t currently support this but I believe? it’s on their roadmap. My hope is that an integration would automatically reflect this? You would certainly know better than I.
The only way I know to control your Daikin AC is via the Home Assistant integration (assuming you have Home Assistant of course) I’m guessing the same would be true about your home connect devices although really not sure why you’d want to control those from your R3
you would be surprised how many people don’t host their own HA server or dont want to deal with that (although the HA integration is the Unfolded biggest selling point).
