Anyone got a cool device UC don’t yet have an integration for? I feel like i want to contribute more and build another one… Anyone interested (and have the device and can commit to testing)?
Maybe this?
thats BT . i usually focus on IP only… Never did BT…
i picked up KNX now… ![]()
Ah okay, I didn’t realize it was BT ![]()
search movies, load , etc. of BEQ filters
(has been requested already a couple of times)
i built this for the HTP1 integration Monoprice HTP-1 Integration
this one as its own integration is challenging but if i build a MiniDSP integration, then it can also be done, like it was done for the HTP1
I do run eqbeq on a Raspberry Pi. It provides a web interface and it would be great having it on the remote (without web support)
TY. will investigate once i finish KNX
Maybe Unraid? It has an open API: Welcome to Unraid API | Unraid Docs
MQTT or Zigbee2MQTT would be interesting as well.
cycling through movie databases directly at the remote would really be nice.
Picture rendering could be done I guess similar to your other integrations (camera, nasa, etc.)
It is already possible with Kodi integration and perhaps other integration.

BEQ filter loading with kodi integration?
I was talking about cycling a database with cover art with the media browsing feature.

@MR77 can you test ezbeq integration please? i dont use ezbeq and i dont own any device that supprot it. its (yet another) blind integration but since u asked for it…
can you test it? if yes, ill send u a link.
Cool, I will. Rapid development! Thank you very much!
lol. you stalking my Github ![]()
yeah, go check it out. but do me a favor, i am CONFIDENT its broken as i cant test. dont comment here. come to Discord and lets talk there. i will need logs etc to get this proper. go and test version 1.0.0
I have a big issue with my LG OLED TV, model 83G5. Dark scenes in different programs often benefit from a slight tweak of the “Brightness” control (which actually adjusts black level). From the nominal value of 50 it sometimes is best to move up or down 1-3 steps. Adjusting this requires going into the menu system and getting to the Brightness slider. The actual slider on screen measures 1700 nits (!!! vs typical whites at 200 nits). Very hard to see what you are doing in the dark areas of the picture when you are being blasted with so much light! ![]()
At a SMPTE conference in Oct of 2024 someone from Disney did a presentation on the system they developed that allowed remote adjustment of settings on the hundreds of LG TVs used in their studio facilities. This board won’t let me upload a pdf of that paper but here is a clip:
"…the existing library did not expose comprehensive picture quality settings to the
ConnectSDK SSAP library. Following a request from Disney regarding the expansion of these
control options, LG initiated research on the feasibility of this expansion by analyzing the existing external screen service module of webOS and concluded that the JavaScript-based file,
consisting of valid setting keys as a whitelist, should be expanded. LG reviewed important
settings and parameters related to this project, including those requested by Disney, to expand
the picture setting whitelist as shown in Figure 2. This expanded list gives Disney and other
clients of LG’s ConnectSDK SSAP API acess to nearly every picture related setting on the
display.
It would be super if the LG integration would allow adjustments of some of those parameters. I can imagine having buttons on the UC remote that would set the Brightness level to 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 48, 47. Or buttons that would bump it up or down one step (and of course ideally display the current value on the remote screen).
I wish I knew how to do such programming. I’ve no idea how hard it would be. I can commit to testing!!
this sound like a perfect topic to bring to the LG integration in discord, not on this thread lol Discord
You want something new? What about the GoGo D1 it has an api and I have the education version.
lol thats funny
