Connection to Dock Not Established?

I have recently be getting this error message sporadically (“connection to dock not established”). However, since it’s sporadic I’m not sure what’s causing it. Anyone have any ideas?

Try to connect the manually by using the ip instead of the mDNS domain as exlained here: https://support.unfoldedcircle.com/hc/en-us/articles/20018912602524-Manually-add-a-Dock-in-the-Web-Configurator

I followed the instructions but keep getting an error message. BTW - do you know how to set up a static IP address and also DHCP IP reservation?

You need to use your router to set a static ip or use DHCP reservation.

Hi Everyone I’m having an issue where I regularly lose control of my devices, and the display shows the message “Connection to dock not established.” This often happens in the middle of using the remote. The dock is connected via Ethernet. Has anyone experienced this or found a way to resolve it? [20251029_173906]
