Looking forward to getting my R3. I wanted to get a wireless charging pad. Does anyone know if there is a minimum voltage requirement or any other requirements. I was looking at this as an example

There were special stands for this Anker charger. You are also in discord there a guy created quite a few stands for 56mm magsafe and 58mm qi like Anker. There are several models real stands in an angle or flat ones.

I’m also using a Samsung Trio wireless charger. I used a paint pen to highlight the black positioning dots on the charger and also put a mark on my R3 cover to enable accurate placement on the charger. This is in my office and I have another Trio in my lounge

I am also using my Samsung Qi charging pad as well. If I can ask, do you experience your remote being very warm while charging?
Also, does the charging of your remote ever stop the charging cycle?
I ask this because my remote is always warm when I go to get it AND the charging light is always on, as if it was still charging even though it’s been charging overnight.

The remote is known to get warm while wirelessly charging
In the Dock the led is always on as well as this also indicates if the remote just uses external power instead of charging the battery. If it reaches a certain battery level it starts charging again.

From memory I believe the remote was actually very “hot” when charging for the first few days while I was setting it up. Now I would say that it gets very slightly “warm” whilst charging. For that particular remote on that charger the usage means that now it normally won’t get below something like 75% charge before being on charge again.
Also, does the charging of your remote ever stop the charging cycle?
I’ve noticed it stopping charging at times, however I’m never quite sure if it’s been caused by the remote being slightly moved off it’s charging position on the charger by placement of other devices on the charger etc. A quick repositioning of the remote on the charger solves the issue for me.

From the reply it is expected behaviour as the charger is still supplying power to the remote even though the remote isn’t actually charging.
I had a charging stand that supported the devices 45 degrees from vertical that I wanted to charge my Remote, phone and Kindle. Unfortunately although the phone and Kindle were fine, after a while the Remote would no longer charge.
The main circuit board needed replacing which UC kindly did and advised me not to use that stand any more.
The most likely possibility here is that even though the stand was advertised as Qi compatible maybe it wasn’t. The other possibility is that because of the height of the Remote charging centre I had to put it upside-down in the stand and the heat dissipated where it wasn’t designed to go.
So for what it’s worth my advice would be: When selecting a wireless charger, get a brand name you can trust, and don’t use it in an unorthodox way.
