Just wondering if I can copy/paste the Hex codes from my old Pronto into R2. Would that work?
Yes. In the Add IR Code box, just make sure to select Pronto for the format and then you can paste the hex code into the text box.

If I do this it says ‘format is invalid’?.. The power on code is 5000 0000 0000 0001 0013 003F for example.
For what device? That’s not a complete Pronto Hex code (it’s a short code that is probably for a specific family of remotes).
It’s for my Trinnov processor. I think this a discrete code is from them. I use this in my Pronto, but will check it with some other codes.
Perhaps Pronto has an export function then you can look if you get out what you put in otherwise use the output for a test.

What model Trinnov? When I look at the IR Codes available on their website, there are no power discretes. Older model?
