Why are sometimes not all devices switched on/off correctly

Thank you, I’ll take a look at the weekend when I have time to provoke the error.

I have a Denon AVR-X2800H. The funny thing is that I can control it directly and completely reliably. Only in the activities is it sometimes not switched off. Switching on always works and I’ve had long delays in the sequence and even varied the orders.

Why are you using IR? For me Denon integrations switches on/off reliable.

Same for me. The IP integration for the Denon works well for me. The only weird anomaly I have (which I dont think others have) is that the volume setting (which I set in my on sequences) stays on my TV screen until I change the volume which rather defeats the point.

I have the same volume staying on screen issue with an
AVR-X3500

Its a weird one. I tried moving it up in the On Sequence and also adding various delays to see if that made a difference. Once or twice it seemed to have fixed it but then it came back without me changing anything which makes me think it will be hard to reproduce. Annoying though !

Hi everyone, and thanks for the great advice and tips. I’ve installed the Denon integration, and it’s working really well. However, I’m still not entirely clear why it creates two different entities. One is labeled “Remote.” I’m considering whether to send all commands via the integration or just the ON/OFF command and the rest via IR, as I had it set up.

Does switching directly between activities also work with integrations? As I said, the direct switching isn’t working properly for me yet, but if I’m not mistaken, it only works, if at all, when using Power_ON, Power_OFF, and Power_Toggle. The naming convention in the integration is different, though.

I can’t find the Samsung integration. Is there one, and what’s it called?

I haven’t checked the log yet; one problem after another.

I’m having trouble with the log. My Apple TV is acting up now; it’s suddenly no longer able to output 4K signals, or rather, the TV isn’t displaying them… I haven’t changed anything in the setup, and HDMI cables don’t just break on their own. Maybe a chip has simply crashed… We’ll see.

I mainly use around 10 integrations and switching activities works perfectly. CEC should be disabled and all activities must be in the same activity group.

Here is a list of integrations.

There are some more not in the list.
