I’d love to use a static IP but can one actually be set? Unless I’m missing something the remote and docks can only use DHCP. I know I can set a DHCP reservation but that’s not the same as a static IP as it still requires the device to do a DHCP discover.
Only a few devices offer the possibility to set a static IP. What often meant is to set the DHCP server, often the Router, so that it always delivers the same IP to a certain device.

As I thought then. That’s not really a static IP as DHCP is still used. It’s better than nothing but I’d much prefer being able to give the UC devices a static IP.
A static IP is set on your router. If you have a deco though, like the other person, then no offense….you might be limited. The deco mesh are not tech friendly in my opinion. Either way, I set static IP addresses from my router web UI. I’m using Asus routers.
I think I’ll wait for the firmware updates…
