Just got my brand new remote 3 and I cant find any WiFi networks. Adding one using reports WLAN Control Interface not Found, have tried a reset, unfortunately nothing seems to resolve it.
Power level must be at least > 50%. And then I think pressing power button 15 seconds to switch off and on again. On discord there was a similar problem. I do not have my R3 yet to check.

My Remote 3 came at less than 50% and I was able to find and connect to WiFi without issue, so I don’t believe that is required.
Your error indicates that the Hardware ist not ready. In discord someone had a similar problem and support said:
There’s one thing you can try. Power off the remote. Hold down the REC button (circle next to the mute button) while powering on the device to enter recovery mode. Then choose clear user data
.
After > 50% charged

I have had the same issue today several times. (“WLAN Control Interface not Found”) The remote was already connected to my network before. Several reboots didn’t help. Only a reboot after entering the recovery menu helped. I didn’t reset anything, just entered the recovery menu and then selected reboot. The connection to the remote is pretty unstable. Sometimes, when I do changes in the web configurator it looks like all is fine, but the changes are not transferred to the remote. After a reboot, I saw, all is transferred to the remote, and working properly.
My dock is connected with a LAN cable via switch to the router and the R3 sits in the dock during programming. So I don’t think, it’s a problem of my network.
Does anybody else have had this error message in brackets above?
