UCR breaks Sonos app

Hi

So i use the Sonos integration of the remote 3 for controlling the volume of my playbar (home cinema setup with sub and 2 surround speakers).

The issue is that for some reason when i add the playbar to an group with other speakers it stops showing the volume level in the sonos app. When i shutdown the remote 3 it comes straight back. But when the remote 3 is back on it works for a couple minutes and then its gone again

I’m using the sonos setup mixed, so wireless and wired.

Does someone have any idea whats going wrong? Using unifi ap ac pro access points and unmanaged switches.

It appears to be a known issue with the Sonos app team, they have asked me to remove the Remote from my network and test.

Initial tests show that without the remote the Sonos app works as expected, seems like the Remote is making multiple connection requests to the Sonos Speakers causing a problem but time will tell.

Raise a ticket with Sonos and mention Remote 3 in your ticket.

Removing the Remote 3 and Sonos Integration resolved the Buggy Sonos App and problem with the Vol Sliders for me.

Yes i know. But the goal is to use the ucr3 to control your volume.

Unfolded circle confirmed the issue in november of 2025… is there any page which you can check the status of the issue?
