Since beta 2.7.x my Philips Android TV goes in stand-by/power_off when I switch from “YouTube kijken” to “Ziggo kijken”, without editing the Activities & Macros. I have made a log of starting with the Macro “Apparaten aan”, which start all devices and switch off all activities in the Group “kijken”. When the Philips Android TV is fully started, I select first the activity “YouTube kijken”. When YouTube is started I select the activity “Ziggo kijken”, which before these last beta’s started Ziggo TV on HDMI1 OK, but with the current beta’s the Philips Android TV is switched off. Who can help me, why in the new beta’s the Philips Android TV goes in stand-by/power_off and I have to change something or it is a bug in the new beta’s?
I found a bypass to prevent the Philips TV being switched off between “YouTube kijken” and “Ziggo kijken”, by add the entity Android TV integration to the activity “Ziggo kijken”. For the activity “Ziggo kijken” I did not need a command from the Android TV integration, so I had not add it as entity, which was no problem in the previous versions. In the new beta’s switching from an activity with Android TV integration to an activity without Android TV integration results in switching off the Philips Android TV.
Yes, my Philips TV is a Android TV model (58PUS8545/12).
For all activities I use the Philips TV and the JBL Soundbar, I start them in the macro “Apparaten aan” and stop them in the macro “Apparaten uit”, with the power button of their remotes. So, in the activities I do not have to switch them on or off, but it looks that the Android TV integration is changed between the beta’s, which results in switching off the Philips TV.
On the Philips TV remote I do not have a Power_On and Power_Off button only a Power_Toggle button. When the Philips TV is in stand-by the Android TV integration is not available, so I cannot use the Switch_On to start it and can only doe this with the Power_Toggle of the remote.
I do not need off sequences, because I switch input sources in all on sequences.
I also have a Philips Android TV and disabled the power off timer in the settings. This way it is always connected with my WiFi.
The remote cannot correctly function with only power_toggle. If you want to stay with IR learn the codes again and name the new codes power_on and power_off and use them instead of toggle in start and end sequence.
Without a end sequence the remote cannot work properly.
I do not notice any change in the Android TV integration concerning start/end in the last couple of month.
With your bypass the Philips Android TV is always on power, but I want to power off my whole installation (Philips TV, JBL Soundbar, etc.) when I am not using it. After switch on the who;e installation the Philips TV starts in stand-by and can only be activated by the Power button of the remote. During the activation you see the Philips logo and the start sequence of Andoid TV and you have to wait 1 or 2 minutes until all systems are activated. Thats why I made the two macros to switch on and off the whole installation.
Good tip to add the power_on & power_off and use them in the start and end sequence.

Did you use a Harmony? It is the same here. You must look at each activity as a standalone activity. It does not make sense to start first a macro and later an activity. You can also mix IR, Bluetooth and IP in the same activity so you can still use IR to power on your TV
In each activity ALL used entities must be included and powered on/off in the start end activity. And all activities must be in the same activity group.
For me it is always only a press of a button to start an activity even if 4 or 5 entities are used.
