I’d like to set the optimal sound settings for cinematic sound 7.1 on my Denon AVR X2800h during startup. The integration offers the option to select surround mode. However, when I select it on the device itself, it only offers the settings that match the source material. I assume this would be different with direct selection. Has anyone done this before? What settings should I use (Auto, DD, DTS, etc.)?
