Sometimes some entities of an activity are not turned off.m (Remote3, 2.8.1). Like the TV is not turning off reliably:
I trained the IR code for turning off TV from the original remote control. When sending trained Power off Code manually, RV turnes off, but in the activity it is not happening reliably.
Any idea if how to fix?
Have you checked manually if power on and off are really only doing what the name means by pressing them twice in a row?
Which Philips do you have?
Even when sending several times the power off command, the TV stays turned off, so it seems like the command isn’t sent.
I am using an Philips 55OLED903.
You know that you can use multiple integrations for 1 device? I have a Philips OLED806 with the Android TV integration and switch on/off is working perfect for me.
Another advantage of Android TV is direct start of Apps.
Drawback is that the inputs like HDMI are not working for that I use the ADBTV integration. Another thing to watch is the startup time when it is powered down complete then it takes in my case around 6min before WiFi is active and reachable.
