Would be good to provide integration version update notifications and a direct upgrade path within the Web Configurator for all integrations (those provided by UC and those provided by 3rd parties) in a similar way to how integration upgrades are handled within Home Assistant / HACS. This would mean that as a user we would automatically be advised as to when an update was available, we could see the release notes to decide if we want to update the integration to the latest version and if we do we could do this by a single click within the UI (and not have to delete and reload the integration and then set up the associated entities again manually). I think this becomes more important as the product goes GA.
I assume this is already planned and will be developed after the update and backup function is implemented.
If you own a Apple device you can try the unofficial U Remote Control App (U Remote Control im App Store) that has an integration update function. You still have to reconfigure the integration but some integrations offer a backup and restore function.
