Show us your custom pages and icons

Thanks for sharing… I was looking for this as well! The list of apps doesn’t show all of my installed apps, is there a way to sync or add them?

Yes you can add a custom string in the source line. You need the App ID, I think from the Play Store, and then:

market://launch?id=App ID

example:

market://launch?id=org.xbmc.kodi

Is there a way to do a custom app with Apple TV? For HBO the integration uses the old “Max” app and that doesn’t work anymore.

Apple TV should show automatically all installed Apps whereas Android TV does not yet have this feature. Perhaps scroll a bit more.

It does show HBO Max (it shows it twice in fact), however, both sources appear to be the “old” HBO Max app. This app was replaced a few months ago and doesn’t work anymore.

That worked… thanks again for the help!

Man, you are on a roll – I had the same question and your solution worked perfectly! How do you figure this stuff out?!

For those struggling to locate app IDs, here are a few common ones:

YouTube TV – com.google.android.apps.youtube.unplugged

Peacock - com.peacocktv.peacockandroid

Hulu - com.hulu.plus

Paramount - com.cbs.app

Pluto TV - tv.pluto.android

Plex Media Server - com.plexapp.android

I am not sure. I think I “borrowed” this trick last year from home automation..

On Android TV you should be able to see the app ID under the “Apps” settings menu where you can force stop, disable, uninstall, etc.
