Screen Replacement

Accidentally dropped my remote on the hardwood floor and it never stood a chance. Screen is shot so I need to get a replacement. For everyone else this has happened to, what was your experience with the process? Did you elect to do the repair yourself or send it back to UC for them to do it? I’m fairly handy at taking things apart and doing self repairs but not sure I have the necessary tools. For those that did self repair, I think they send you instructions and pictures on how to do it. Any chance you can post those instructions so I can determine if it’s something I can do? Thanks!!

I have the same issue, the display is black after it felt on the floor, and I don’t know how to fix it. Who can help?

Write a mail to the support. You can either send to remote in to let UC repair it for you or they can send you a new display and you can do the repair yourself. The OP just wants to know how difficult it is to do a self repair.

The same has just happened to me. Wrote to support who have been incredibly helpful. Just dispatched the remote to them after they sent me a UPS label all ready to go. The quote for repair isn’t much more than the quote for the DIY option so I am letting the UC team do it for me.

I ended up doing the same. They send instructions for self repair and it actually looks pretty easy but, for 29euro, I just had them do it. For those shipping from the US, there are instructions to print 3 versions of the attached PDF. UPS needs three signatures for customs docs to get it over to them.
