Came across this one, and i immediately felt it was so similar to Remote 3 it was almost uncanny…
Seems to be more like a HA control and not universal remote.

Maybe. It does support Wifi/Bluetooth/Infrared though.
But GUI seems to be cards from HA. But your are right on 1st look it is very similar.
I basically use my R2 the way this thing is designed, nearly 100% reliant on HA, so technically it could be a good competitor in my use case.
It does look a lot like R3, that’s what immediately stood out to me. But on the other hand a smart remote can only be made in limited ways I guess: they all need a screen, navigation buttons and a few extra buttons, so in the end they’re all gonna look more or less similar.
I just think there’s not that much information out there about the product other then it runs an old version or fork of android (8?) and it’s designed for HA.
Either way I’m happily sticking with my remote 2’s.
To me that website feels like an AI generated site with no real info other than mentioning Android and some other generic things. Is it a real company? If it is, does that remote need a cloud account?
Can be good for most cases. Personally I like the fact that I can control AVR and such directly without the need of HA but as HA is always there anyway I think this thing is looking good. I stick to my R3 because I love it ![]()
What’s also quite strange is that there’s absolutely no imprint, a legally required provider identification for websites and other media that creates transparency about the responsible party and provides essential contact details (name, address, email, telephone number) as well as other legally required information (e.g., commercial register entry, VAT ID).Or have I overlooked something?
The images on Sanytron’s homepage under “About Us” look like stolen photos to me.
That’s right, I can absolutely agree with you.

And that price… seems suspiciously low to me.
