I just added a Roku Ultra via integration and it added it seamlessly (it didn’t even ask me for any codes or permissions). However, when I try to add entities, it doesn’t show any entities as available to add. For all my other integrations, adding entities was simple. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I just saw that there is already a thread covering this in the integration section and I pasted the link below. I’ve also included my last post in that thread. For my R3, it doesn’t appear that my Roku integration is adding any specific Roku devices. I’m hoping someone has a workaround.
Did you ever find a fix for this?
After a few days it just suddenly worked
So just leave the integration installed and wait for Roku entities to show up eventually?
That’s what I did and after 2-3 days it worked. Can’t say that will happen to you but that was my experience.
Hmm.. its been about 5 days so far for me, still no Roku entities showing.
Yeah it never worked for me. Put my Roku back down in the basement since F1 is over and that was the only way I could get 4k DV to work for F1 ![]()
Sucks. Was hoping I could replace all of my Harmony Elite integrations. I’ll report this as a bug I suppose. In the meanwhile I will try IR learning the buttons from the Roku remote. Wonder if there is a way to import a batch of IR codes from the internet into this remote.
My Roku 4k stick doesn’t use IR
Another solution could be Home Assistant. I have an RPi sitting around I may try to use for that. I also have a Samsung Smartthings with many of my Harmony Devices and Activities in it and I see there’s a Smartthings integration. Worse comes to worst you can always spin up one of those while waiting for a Roku integration update. For all this work I could probably roll out my own Roku integration in the same amount of time… get some help from AI possibly. lol
