After trying very hard to like this remote, I’ve decided to go a different direction. I’m selling this for $425 USD (shipping in the US via USPS priority mail included in cost). If anyone is interested, let me know.
In case anyone is interested, my different direction is to use an RF remote with a USB dongle plugged into an old Raspberry Pi I have laying around. A little code to take the key press and send it to Home Assistant, and I can control all my stuff from basically anywhere the RF remote will work (which seems to be my whole house).
