Something strange has started happening the last couple of weeks. When i put my R2 into the charging dock for any extended period of time, e.g., overnight, when I take it out of the dock it has turned completely off and the only way to get it back on is to hold the power down for like 30 seconds and sometimes that doesn’t even work and I need to let go and then press it again. Does anyone have any thoughts?
If you got it on again is it charged to 100%?

Yep - it’s charged to 100% every time and so that’s why it’s so strange. When i put it in the charger, it also always has plenty of juice left.
Do your hear a sound when you put it into the dock and does the led slowly pulse? Otherwise the remote is not really charging and dicharges and turns itself off if the battery has been drain completly. In this case try to clean the contacts both on the remote and the dock.
Yes I hear the sound and the screen goes to the charging screen and it is def charging because it is always at 100% after I go thru that powering on process
