Is it everyone else’s experience that the remote can teeter back-and-forth in the dock? My Harmony remote fits snuggly in the charging dock. It would be nice if the R3 that cost twice as much would have a more snug fit with the dock so there is less risk of it falling over and out of the dock if bumped.
Yes its just not a tight enough fit. Im thinking about putting some felt in the back of the dock to make it tighter. Actually fits great if you put it in backwards, but wont charge
You could fry your remote if the polarity of the charging pins is reversed.
If it’s that easy to fry your remote, then that is a very poor design. The Harmony remote only fits the correct direction based on the contours of the bottom of the remote. This remote shouldn’t have the ability to be put in incorrectly if it could ruin the remote.
