Remote freezes multiple time a day

Exactly same for me, I can’t push in « production » the remote because freeze or not responsive command are too regular…
It’s frustrating.
No answer by dev teams here and no answer on github.
I hope it will be fix soon

And for me it´s really frustating because I have the feeling that the freeze of the physical keypad buttons will happen more often with the newest firmware 1.5.2 now.

Same issue here: freezes regularly but no pattern discovered so far: can be by using the touchpad for navigating through a menu of my settopbox, or by pressing the channel-up or down. Once frozen, only option is to reboot the remote, and re-select the activity which result in fact the TV and settopbox switches back off as the remote does not “see” these are already on, but ok, that can be fixed by the two additional power buttons I programmed so the TV and settopbox are switched on again…
Installed 1.5.2 yesterday, but apparently that is not bringing any improvement according posts above…

I have got the same issue.
Got the remote now for 3 or 4 weeks running with firmware version 1.5.2.
The remote has had 3 freezes or so with only the option to restart the remote.

New freeze without apple tv involved in the activity (but installed as a integration).

It was with a full home assistant activity (IP control via automation/scripts for TV, Shield and HDFury device) + IR for soundbar (volume up/down).

Nothing special, just grab the remote to lower volume ant it was freezed. So no multiple sequence or anything else, just wake up the remote and boom freeze

Just to add a ‘meeee toooo’. I came here search freezes to see if any folks have a solution, but seems it’s only others having the same problem.

Mine juste froze 5 mn ago. Apple TV was not in use. Only HA entities and IR. But the Apple TV integration is set but wat not in use in the activity. Latest firmware of course.

It is at least 1 freeze per day. Sometimes more

In my case the all remote is freeze. I can not go back to home menu or any actions on the screen does not work.
Only the power button seems to work to shutdown the remote and restart it.

Do you have this behavior too ? Or just some command did not work ?

Because I’ve the both scenario. Sometimes all the command are not working and a go back I the menu and re enter in activity can solve the problem.

Or sometimes it’s only some commands like previous/back or volume that do not work. But the rest of the commands are fine.

I’m on 1.6.7 and I’m also getting random freezes requiring a reboot. Everything else is working quite nicely now including controlling several devices via Home Automation Green.
