I have my 2019 Shield Pro setup on the R3 as a Bluetooth entity. I’m using the Default device profile FWIW. When it is paired, it’s fine. But for some reason that I cannot fathom, it will just randomly drop connection once or twice a month and I have to go back into the Shield and re-pair the R3. Anybody know a way to fix this so I’m not dropping Bluetooth? Thanks!
Sorry, not an answer, but I have the same problem. Except a couple times a week. I’ve found rebooting the R3 reconnects. Not great, but better than the re-pair as I need to find the dedicated remote for the DVR, put batteries back in, and then start the re-pair from the DVR.
The Shield remote is a BT remote. It’s only IR functions are to control TV power / volume. Plus all my gear other than the actual TV is housed in a ventilated closet so nothing is line of sight.
