How many home assistant entities can you control? Is there a set limit (number) you can control built into the firmware, or is the number unlimited (via sub menus?) ANy difference here between the R2 and R3(Do they have the same size screens for viewing HA buttons?} How customisable is the layout? Any vids on a project were someone has set up their unfoldedC remote very much as a home assistant touchscreen? thanks!
You can use the GitHub - unfoldedcircle/core-simulator: Remote-core simulator releases for exactly this. It includes the Home Assistant integration that can also be linked to our own instance. The VM also include the remote ui which simulates the remote itself so you can see how it looks on the remote (Two). Remote 3 should be added once the new web configurator is out (ETA End of summer 2024).

Wow Ok!- you guys have thought of everything… this really looks to be a pretty cool remote. I am a long standing HA user and the HA integration here is a big deal for me. I think I might have order one on the new kickstarter.
