Just yesterday my R2 stopped working. It’s not a charging issue, I made sure the dock was powered and the ‘breathing’ light went on when the remote was present. I followed the instructions from the forum here to remove the board and made sure the pogo pins were connecting, but still no luck. What’s odd is that the backlight for the button pad illuminates, but there’s nothing on the screen.
Any advice is appreciated.
Can you access the web configurator?
Yes, but I can’t log in because the code isn’t displayed.
try pressing power off for around 10 seconds. If your are lucky the screen changes and shows switch off and restart. If not try after a few seconds to press the top or bottom half of the screen also for around 10 seconds.
Last chance then would be let the remote out of the dock to drain the battery until its empty then the remote is forced to reboot.

Ralf, I tried those things already, no luck. I even removed the board from the remote and unplugged the battery, waited 5 minutes, and reconnected. Same problem - no screen, though I can access the R2 via the configurator, however I can’t log in.
Then it’s most likely something with the screen. Maybe the support also knows how to reset the pin to a default value.
