My R3 does not want to control my UBD 420, I tried wired connection and wireless nothing. I even try to to learn the code by IR and got a busy input message. I’m thinking there’s a setting on the player that I’m missing. Anyone got any ideas ? Thanks.
Are you just trying to control via ir or are you expecting the integration to work via IP?
If you want ip you need to patch trh firmware of the ub420. And the risk of bricking the unit is very real. Ask me how I know 
If simply ir you need to make an ir model/entity first then use that entity in your activities. This is not done in the Panasonic integration.
I did the ir, but it’s still not working. It keeps giving me a error message about a input or change input. The integration also never worked. Then I tried the ir route and it’s not working. I keep thinking I’m doing something wrong.

Yeah that’s pretty much what I did.
Post some screenshots of your config and If you can, take a picture of the error.
