So how does it work? Do you have to press a button on the UC R3 to activate siri?
Yes - The R3 has a Mic button. In your activity you would specify Siri as the voice assistant and then it would automatically map the the Mic button.

Mich must be activated in settings also.

This is what I’m getting after setting up remote:
voice_assistant.voice_start and stop (image below). Do I just need to use the start?
Where do you activate mic in settings. Never have done this since none of the other devices have voice support.
Never mind, I found it but getting a not responding error code 400 now. Maybe I need to reboot?
You need to active the voice assistant in the global settings or for each activity.
The separate buttons for start and stop don’t seem to work. I already asked the developer. He wasn’t sure if this is an integration or firmware issue.

I only wanted the voice assistant for the Apple TV activity since I had already assigned other commands to this button on other activities. Now, it seems that those assignments are gone for other activities.
You need to to this in the settings of that activity not in the global voice assistant settings.

Just another confirmation that it was super easy to set-up and has been working for me. Awesome to have Siri on the UC3. Last night I asked Siri for a specific movie and then to turn off the lights in my home theater. Both commands executed smoothly.
