I wonder if that means I ever want to change the ir output I will have to redo the codes?
No, just change the IR output. So for instance have a Sky Lounge IR entity with output to dock lounge. Then copy the Sky Lounge IR entity to create a Sky bedroom IR entity with output to bedroom dock
Think Iām beginning to understand this. It doesnāt like hex commands, which are what it learns. You then have to press the button twice for it to work, odd. Pronto commands work fine. I donāt suppose you have pronto commands for channel up and down and menu home?
I have Menu Home in Pronto:
MENU HOME 0000 0073 0000 001D 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0E10
I had to learn Channel Up and Down so donāt have those in Pronto. Make sure that the format in the drop down in the IR Code box is set to Hex for Hex codes. Hex Codes should work fine. Iāll have a look to see if I can find Channel Up and Down in Pronto.
You might be right there as initially all the Sky codes were HEX after I had to ālearnā them all. Had to press each key twice to get it to work. Once I used the Pronto codes everything worked normally.
I think my Channel Up and Channel down commands might actually be mapped onto Direction Up and Direction Down as the Sky Stream remote doesnāt actually have any Channel Up Channel Down buttons
Yeah Iāve done the same. All working
did anybody figure out a easy way to start apps like for example the BBC iPlayer on the remote 3 using the sky stream ?
yup that is what I also did
Hi, is it possible to copy an entity and rename it? Trying to add the sky stream from other rooms. Thanks
No but if it is IR you can simply add a new IR entity with the same codes and rename them according to the room. Remember to select the correct IR output device/port.
Ralf
Thatās a pain, so I need to rebuild the interface etc?
Didnāt take too long, thanks for the help. 2 more bedrooms to go!
Hey - thanks for this. Iāve just copied the lot into my Remote 3 web configurator as you described. I tested the power on/off when I first entered it and it seemed to work from the web config. But now that Iāve entered all the rest nothing seems to work. I press āTest codeā and it says ācode testing okā. But nothing happens to the Sky box itself. And nothing works from the remote. Itās a shame the IR learning function doesnāt appear to work for Sky.
I have a similar problem with my Arcam AVR30. The Remote 3 learnt the IR codes for that. They all function perfectly in test mode from the web config. But they donāt work at all from the remote itself. Very frustrating!
Hi @sammyh25 . How did you learn the IR codes? I tried with my Sky stream puck remote, but nothing happened. Iāve since been told that the Sky Stream remote works over bluetooth (and you canāt - as far as I can tell - pair Remote 3 with the Sky box). That and trying to get my Arcam AVR to work are driving me mad!

I donāt have Sky Stream, but hope these links help.
On the remote press and hold the ā4ā and ā6ā buttons together for three seconds to switch the remote to use IR. Press and hold the ā1ā and ā3ā buttons together for three seconds to switch the remote to use Bluetooth
Ah - handy, thanks!
Even after I learnt all the commands thewy wouldnāt work properly as you had to press them twice to get them to work. I eventually copied and pasted the codes in that fbutler kindly provided ion post 3 of this thread.
The only issue I have now is the Home button isnāt correct as it seems to work as a back button and I havenāt been able to find the correct code that immediately takes you back to the Home Menu of Sky Stream in one go.
This pronto code works for home for me:
0000 0073 0000 001D 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0E10
