I changed my Hue bridge last week to a new Bridge Pro. I deleted the integration of my old bridge and tried to setup a new Hue integration. After start I get the message “Driver not connected. Failed to connect to host: Connection refused (os error 111)” immediately.
Is this a problem with the new bridge or anything else? My old bridge has been working well. Thank you very much for any help.
Tangent question @casi - Other than the issues connecting your remote to it, how do you like the Bridge Pro? Any noticible changes (good or bad) between this and the old bridge? I’ve been considering updating but not sure if it is worth the cost yet.
a few hours later I tried again to connect the hue integration and now it worked! Nothing changed! I don`t know, if I had too much traffic before?
@_Mike I don`t see any advantaged at the moment, but many work to change all my smart home devices! I have (only) about 15 lights and 5 switches integrated.
Hey - I also just converted to bridge pro. I was able to consolidate 4 bridges to get to one. I will say over all it was easy to migrazte. It took a day for the system to settle and get figured out. My Home Assistant configuration broke but only took a couple hours to get working again ultimately allowing me to do a long over do renaming exercise. So far, I see it is a lot faster. I am still stuggling with my HA motion automations but the ones on hue are solid.
So the thing I need to figure out to get stuff finished on R3 is do I add hue integration or the HA integration for controlling ligjtghts in the room.
