It seems the media widget goes black when using Netflix,
Is this happening to others or is it a known current bug?
Let me quote my answer to you I just posted on Discord:
Unfortunately this has been caused by a recent update of the Netflix app that changed the player form the internal tvOS player to a custom player that doesn’t expose these infos anymore. It always depends on the app if you get media playback infos. At least the Apple TV is well-positioned in that regard if you compare it with other systems like Android TV where almost no app supports this feature
