My R3 is possessed!

Yesterday I was in bed - suddenly there was loud music - I thought who tf is making so much noise at night?!? Then I went to my living room and it was actually me - or better my stereo. It switched on and played Roon all by itself. I switched it off and went to bed.

Later on I could suddenly hear my TV and my curtains were closed in the living room - a ghost?

This morning I could see that the tv had switched itself on yet again - theR3 was pretty warm and the display was jumping around - so I thought I needed an exorcist - but after resetting the device, I cancelled the priest.

The R3 is an interesting product - far from finished, so hopefully it will just become more reliable soon. I like it, yet it just makes me realise what a great product Harmony was and where it could be now, had Logitech not killed it. It would have been great if they had shared their knowledge with another company - maybe even UC.

This sounds very strange and your the first one that reported this. You can inspect the logs to see what happened.

i am with @kennymc.c on that one, definitely check the logs…

I’ve had the screen scrolling up and down by itself, but not starting activities/turning on devices by itself.

I have had the same problem. The touchscreen often ceases to accept comands (especially after starting an activity, sometimes going back to the activity-screen and back fixes it) and sometimes has a life of its own.

Right now, the activity turned on again without any interaction with the remote. The log just states:
