After two weeks of testing this integration I’m facing serious problems and will go back to IR control for my LG TV.
Every day I will have to restart the remote because the integration stops working and none of the buttons work and I’m getting red errors like ‘The request timed out, please try again’ or ‘Bad request’. After reboot everything works fine for a limited time until it stops working. This happens even if I started an activity and didn’t use the remote for a longer time, e.g. after watching a movie. It is really frustrating because I prefer the IP control over IR, but like this it’s not reliable and feels like beta testing.
Is there a chance that this behaviour will be solved with future integration or remote updates?
Try to update to v1.3.1 from yesterday evening. I had these timeouts too and the update solved it for me

I couldn’t get WOL and power to work with it and found it unreliable as well.
As well, the integration itself doesn’t have discrete commands for power or for inputs. Since that’s all I really need from the TV (volume controlled through my AVR), I just use Node-RED on my HA integration to fire those commands. They work flawlessly (along with Info, Settings, and cursor control).
For me the integration is pretty stable. Never had problem with WoL. Try to run the integration setup again as there are some new option to test WoL. It also supports both discrete power on/off commands and the select source feature to switch to a specific input or app.
You need to make sure you have all the integration requirements like the “turn on” automation and Wol…
I do have it all configured. The principle problem I am having is that the WOL logic wants me to leave the TV off for at least 15 minutes prior to configuration, but that means I can’t accept the external device access prompt on my LG TV.
I don’t have that issue using NodeRED/HA. Works perfectly and all I really need to do is switch inputs and turn on/off in any event.
I did not have my TV off for 15 minutes before doing my config… maybe you need to get on Discord and talk with the developer he’s pretty responsive. He may be able to help sort out your issues. the integration had been working flaw less for me.
