Latest update - 2.9.8 - connection BROKEN

So after the last beta update, which promises some major improvements to networking stabilization, the remote (I’m using a remote 3 currently) is pretty much dead. If I start up an activity everything works great, but after it goes into deep sleep…it never wakes up. Connection to dock not established crap again. I’ve rebooted the remote several times. I’ve rebooted all of my docks. I’m also using Ethernet for two of my docks. One is Wi-Fi. Whatever, doesn’t matter. The fact of the matter is that this new update changed something and waking back from sleep is broken again like what happened a few updates back. UGH.

There was a bug concerning WiFi. Since yesterday evening 2.9.9 is out which should fix some broken features. Perhaps it fixes your problem.

Oh good!! I’ll install it now and report back later. Thanks!

2.9.10 is on the way.

Awesome. Yeah, I don’t see any updates, so it seems like 2.9.9 was pulled. Thanks again. I’ll keep an eye out for the next release.

2.9.9 and coming 2.9.10 Europe only until some bugs are removed.

I’m on 2.9.10 now. It came through yesterday evening. Everything appears to be working properly again. However, the remote screen turns on periodically by itself like it always used to in the past, so not sure if that’s how this always worked or whatever. Or if that is what’s keeping the Wi-Fi connection alive. Meh

Well I lied. It’s totally broken still. Nothing I can do except reboot the remote to get everything connected again. The dock connections just say “idle”. Then I click Identity on any of them, I get “connection to dock not established” crap. Fun!!

UPDATE: I went into settings, Wi-Fi, selected my network and disconnected. Selected it again and connected. Now everything is working again without needing to reboot. Interesting. Because my docks are Ethernet. Now all 3 docks show “Active”.
