I still use a Lightmanager Mini from JB Media to switch two 220V sockets from Intertechno which work with 433 MHz. The R3 does not want to learn the IR codes. Error message: unknown. I remember, that also with my Harmony Elite it was painful to make it work.
So first question, is it possible to control the 433 MHz sockets directly with the R3 - I assume not - and second question, did anybody manage to make IR learning with the lightmanager possible?
No RF control of R2/R3. I have the Lightmanager air and this one can be controlled with the HTTP (requests) integration. I am not sure about the mini.
I can control my Air with the requests integration and this source line:
url=“http://192.168.178.49/control?scene=0&scene=3”
to switch on my light. I also use it to control my RF projector screen.
So look if there is a web control of the Mini possible.
I think, this is not possible for the LM mini, because it cannot be connected to the LAN or Wi-Fi network. It is just a IR to RF converter. I bought it in 2011 and it was the first model from JB Media.
BTW, the meantime I managed to learn the IR codes, but they do not work. It feels like, the LM mini is boosting the signal to strong, because learning worked after I turned the LM mini away from the R3 dock.
I just found a very easy solution to transfer the commands from the Lightmanager to the web configurator.
In the Lightmanager you can find in the menu under “Options /Pronto Code Table” all Pronto codes of your existing programming. You can just copy them in the learing field of the web configurator after you swithed it from Hex to Pronto. Important Note: Before copying the code from the lightmanager, take care that the window width is as wide, that you see the code in one line. Otherwise, it copies most likely a return with the code and the web configurator canot handle it.
