I finally have the Remote Two programmed to my specs but I am having an issue with the IR consistently turning on/off my new Sony 75” LCD (K75XR70). I tried having the dock on the top shelf of the entertainment stand but the wooden shelves prevented it from controlling devices. I now have the dock positioned 5-6 meters from all the equipment with a clear line of sight and the TV is the only device that is having an issue. From this distance, I had no issues using my Harmony remote. With the clear line of sight, I am stumped why this is an issue and when I looked I was surprised to find only the dock in sending an IR signal. Is the Remote Two capable of out putting an IR signal as well as the dock? If so, what do I need to change?
If the Remote Two can not send an IR signal in addition to the dock, will the new IR blaster fix the issue I am having?
Thanks for any and all help!
~Brian
The remote can also send IR but it still an experimental feature you must enable it in the settings Preview Features.
You have a Google TV TV why not using the Android TV integration which works through WiFi and no line of sight needed?

Honestly…I didn’t know! I don’t use any of the “smart” functions of the TV as I only need it to turn on and go to HDMI4. Thanks for the advice

Have you tried using the extenders that come with remote/ dock? They are not very long but maybe there is a position with the dock and the extenders that would work.
I tried using the Android Integration and I am getting the following error message.
Any thoughts?
“Android TV Remote Service” must be installed on the TV I think. At least the service is installed on all my Android TV devices.

I received the same error message when using the android integration and could find no fix. I switched to ir like you did with dock pointing directly at tv. It works most of rather time. It’s a real design flaw but it is what it is at this point it seems.
As frustrating as it is that something isn’t working correctly, I am glad someone else had the same issue that I did as I was concerned I was doing something wrong

I once had a Sony Android TV that worked fine with the Android TV integration. The only thing that didn’t work was changing the inputs but this is a general Android TV problem also with other vendors.
Have you checked the TVs settings? I remember there is an IP control setting somewhere. Maybe that’s not turned on. Also the debug logs on the remote maybe give you more information about the cause of the error.
