I have this amplifier with IR in and out in the back. Would I be able to run a mono jack from the Dock 3 into the IR in and have it work? It would be a lot more pretty, than running the extender to the front of the unit and stick it in front of the IR diode.
My guess is yes but it is only a guess. I did the same with my former Onkyo 905 and harmony hub. I think it only works if IR itself works with the R2 / R3.
