TLDR: Allow users to “hold” an IR command for a duration. (Both by holding down the button as well as an option in Activities)
I have a device that requires a very annoying sequence of “Hold Volume Up for 5 seconds, then press mute” command. Currently it is impossible to do this with the remote, and being able to do it as an activity would be the best thing ever.
