IR blaster only for Dock 2?

Hi, I assumed the IR blaster would also work with the Remote 3 dock, but when I received it today there is a note with a warning that you can only use it with the R2 dock.
@marton : can you tell if it also works with the R3 dock? That’s what I hoped to do.

There are two versions. The one you could order after the Kickstarter campaign ended is just for the R2. The one that comes with Dock 3 of course also works with the Dock 3.
