Hello everyone,
This is a long shot - has anyone managed to get it working. Here is an example of an IP Code - http://ip/cgi-bin/do?cmd=ir_code&ir_code=EC124040. I have not been able to get a response. I am using a Kramer SL240C to send the code. Perhaps there is a need for a prefix or suffix to make it work or something else. The manual does not say anything about that.
Any ideas?
Regards
Dan
How did you integrate this room controler into the remote? As far as I know there is no integration for this device. Are you using Home Assistant for this? Then this should be a problem on their side.
If I remember it correctly Rvolution is the successor of my good old Zappiti and this one was based on Android/Android TV. Did you try this instead of the old fashioned IR?
Android should work with BlueTooth and Android TV with an IP based integartion.
The CPU Amlogic S928X-K/J is the same Dune HD uses in their 8K player and they use Android TV.

Hello, thank you for your reply.
I am not sure that I understand your question correctly. I created a new IP device within Kramer for the R’Volution. Then applied the commands as per the example. No success
Hello Ralf,
Thanks for your input. Was not aware of Android TV. Where can I find information about this. You believe that its drivers can work with R’Volution?
What did you do in the Web Configurator of the UC Remote to integrate this Kramer controller? As far as I understand you’re having trouble trouble with the Kramer controller and the R’volution player and not on the Unfolded Circle Remote Two side.
As Ralf mentioned you can also try out the Android TV integration and not use the Kramer controller at all.
Hello,
My apologies, I have a made a mistake. This forum is very specific and not dealing with general control matters. My system is a Kramer system and I do not have a UC Remote. I helped a forum member some time ago with specific IR codes and thought wrongly that this forum had a broader agenda.
Once again sorry about this.
Best regards
Dan
Thank you for clearing it up. On the other hand if possible I would switch to IP instead of IR. I am confidend that the Rvolution ist Android TV based and for IP control you must install Android Remote Services. Berhaps it helps even though you do not have an UC.
Ralf
Hello again, I will definitely seek to have control using IP rather than IR.
I have found that there is much more info on Dunes website regarding IP codes. They seem to be identical to R’Volution. I will see if their instructions will guide me to success. I cannot see that their 8K model is Android TV based.
Once again thank you for your input.
Best
Dan
Android TV was an assumption from me because they wrote Android 11 but this is quit old but Android TV 11 on the other hand is more or less a recent one. Most Dune HDs and I guess the Rvolutions are OEM versions of a chinese manufacturer.
If you can install Android Remote Services it should be Android TV.
