2023 is the year of the voice in Home Assistant and of particular interest is the voice interface to interact directly with the Home Assistant instance locally - not via a Google Assistant or Alexa interface.
Does/will the remote support this interface? While it’s cool to pick up a 50 year old phone and tell it to turn on a light the new remote - we all wait to have in our letter box some time soon - would be a much more elegant voice interface. I wouldn’t mind pressing a button on the interface to activate voice…
