Home assistant, how to change websockets ip adresse

Hello,

I changed the IP address of my home assistant server, then reinstalled the integration in remote 2 and in HA.
But after reinstallation, HA can see the remote and my dock, but the integration was trying to find the websockets at the old IP, how can I make it try to connect with the new one which is now?

am I the only one to have encountered this problem?

did you ever find a solution to this?

I was about to ask this same question. I rebuilt my Homes Assistant server and was then looking at updating the integration with the new IP address, but can’t seem to do it. I tried deleting the integration and re-adding it, but still get the old ip address, and the integration just sits there trying to connect.

Marton posted this on Discord for this issue: “Web configurator/Integrations/Home Assistant then click on Start setup. Then you’ll be able to enter a new URL. If you leave the token input empty it will use the one you’ve already provided.”

@fbutler thank you for your response. I did try that, but see where to enter a new URL. This is what I see when selecting ‘Start setup’:

Turning on Configure Enhanced Options and clicking Next shows the following options:

I can’t see anywhere to provide the updated IP address

Change it at Home Assistant side - you might have to run the config again on your remote to pick the change up afterwards.

Thanks @TheWall. Updating it there worked. Thank you so much for your help.

I just did it myself 5 minutes before your posting
