the word blaster is a bit of a mouthful 
While not the best solution but this works for me, if you have two docks try placing one on its side with the charging port facing the devices. I did this and found no need for blasters at all seems all those new higher power IR LEDs are pointing at the ceiling and not running anywhere ear full efficiency!
the round tops of the blasters are pointing to the dac (and all other devices 
).
