Frustrated: Marantz SA-10 codes - anyone actually got code set?

Wasted a huge amount of time getting Global Caché codes into a usable state for my SA-10. neither the ‘CD’ set nor the HD-CD1 set are correct and/or complete.

The Remote 3 cannot learn those that are, and so the device is useless.

The configurator is extremely buggy: you enter an action for a button and it just doesn’t retain it. Do it again, and maybe it does.

Didn’t realise that this was such a pre-Alpha release.

So far, a huge step back from a Harmony!

I guess you already tried the blaster instead of the dock (the bigger one)? Make it’s recognized in the Dock settings. Have you also tried to use the internal ir emitter? It has to be activated first under settings/development/preview features.

Are you accesing the configurator via the .local domain or the ip address? Try to use the ip address insetad as this should cause less issues with stability. Also make sure to put the remote in the Dock while doing longer configuration.

I’m afraid I’m done. It’s going back. This in 30 years of IT is the worst product I have seen launched.

Nice looking hardware, but non-functional, utterly unusable and burdened by the most hopeless software.

This product cannot be launched to the public - UC will go bust on the back of it.

Thanks. Used the IP address from day one. Buggy as hell.

Funny for me this buggy software is my daily remote for over a year. I must do something wrong.

:joy: yeah man what is wrong with you?!?!

(I also love my R3)

I have had issues with button mapping in activities sometimes, and I had issues with my Shield TV which were frustrating. However, it now feels pretty solid.

I have 21 entities over both IP and IR, with 16 activities and it works a lot more reliably than my Harmony did near the end where it wouldn’t always turn all devices on/off, would lose connection to WiFi all the time, etc.

I’m looking forward to being able to ditch IR once RS232 support is added as IR isn’t reliable regardless of the devices used on either end IMO.

There are areas that could be improved, but overall I’m happy with my purchase. Maybe I’m lucky with the devices I own.
