First time user trying to set up Remote 3

Ah, thanks!

So I finallly got the Remote 3 connected by selecting the 5G network, but although I can now connect to the dock, the dock can’t see any networks (it’s near the remote, in the same room as the router). If I manually type in the SSID and other details, it just times out.

Three hours, and only the Remote 3 is connected…

Try to setup the Dock using Ethernet first and the later enter the WiFi credentials through the web configurator.

Yay! that worked! and it now connects to WiFi without Ethernet (although it still thinks it has an Ethernet connection!).

Speaking as a retired software developer, this must be one of the flakiest installations I’ve come across - and I once installed Philips custom counter-top terminal software for Building Societies… :wink:
