Eversolo DMP Integration Request

I have an Eversolo DMP-A6 that I am currently using over IR on my Remote 3. It would be great to be able to access more of its functions that can’t be done over IR, such as switching to a defined output rather than cycling through them so that this can be automated via an integration.

Christian Horn has created a Home Assistant integration here: https://github.com/hchris1/Eversolo. I don’t run Home Assistant (and am not a software engineer!), but I assume that the same command set could be used for a Remote 3 integration. Does anyone have an Eversolo that would be happy to develop this into a UC integration? Happy to help in testing if that is useful. Cheers!

I just had a quick look and the HA integration seems to be using a lot of references to Zidoo devices. There is already an intergratiom for Zidoo. Have you tried it? GitHub - albaintor/integration-zidoo: Unfolded Circle Remote Two integration driver for Zidoo devices

I guess that isn’t a surprise as Eversolo is effectively Zidoo’s HiFi brand, they are the same company. I don’t think that the Zidoo integration works with the Eversolo, as I also have a Zidoo media player which I use that integration for (works great) and I didn’t see an option to also set the Eversolo up. Some of the commands that I would like also don’t exist on the Zidoo (such as XLR out, and USB out) so probably don’t exist in the Zidoo integration? I’ll have a look again and see if it is possible.

As the commands seem to be http requests you could use the http requests integration. Maybe EverSolo has any official documentation about the api?

Sadly I don’t think that they are publicly documented even though this has been requested from Eversolo for a while. I saw that a Windows app was also created to control the Eversolo as detailed here: Eversolo DMP - DIY web control panel v1.0 | Audio Science Review (ASR) Forum, but it sounds like the author scraped the API calls form the previous HA integration.

As the HA integration is open source someone should be able to get the command structure.

That is my hope .

Bumping this as I too would dearly love a DMP-A6 integration.
